Advance ticket sales for Kesari Chapter 2 have reached 24,935 across 3,503 shows, earning Rs 82.85 lakh ahead of the film’s April 18 release. Including blocked seats, total advance collections stand at Rs 1.86 crore, according to data from Sacnilk.
The production team held an opening-city premiere in Chanakyapuri, Delhi, on April 15. Cast members Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan welcomed guests that included political figures and industry representatives.
At the screening, Kumar requested attendees to keep mobile devices stowed during the film to ensure full engagement with every dialogue.
Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, Kesari Chapter 2 shifts focus to the aftermath of the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh tragedy, building on the legacy of the 2019 film Kesari, which depicted the Battle of Saragarhi.
The cast features Ananya Panday in a pivotal role, with Regina Cassandra, Simon Paisley Day and Alexx O’Nell in supporting parts. The narrative continues themes of sacrifice and duty central to the original story.
